We are a group of citizens who are dedicated and passionate about serving the community of Rocky River through various service projects, fundraisers and mentoring youth to become the next leaders. We want to see children thrive, grow, learn and live great lives.
Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Our Kiwanis club looks out for our community and the Kiwanis international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty. Our Kiwanis club is generous with its time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way!
Great things happen when Kiwanis is around and Kids can explore, live and have fun!
Objects of Kiwanis – Our core values
The six permanent Objects of Kiwanis International were approved by Kiwanis club delegates at the 1924 Convention in Denver, Colorado. Through the succeeding decades, they have remained unchanged.
To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships
To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship
To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, and patriotism
The Kiwanis Mission & Vision
Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
